Zane's Tavern
Bar food meets authentic Mexican.
Whatever you might want in a laid-back restaurant and bar, Zane's Tavern has it. Open for lunch, happy hour, and dinner, Zane's takes bar food to a whole new level, with the atmosphere of a cozy sports bar and the authentic cuisine of a Mexican/American restaurant.
For lunch, try the renowned Philly cheese steaks, the specialty of the house (owner Ed Zane grew up just outside of Philly). There are ten varieties of beef and chicken Phillies to choose from--highly recommended is the Mushroom Philly, made with shaved sirloin, sautéed mushrooms, and American cheese, and served with fries.
A Snowmass visit isn't complete without happy hour at Zane's. Loyal locals flock in for the plump and juicy 25-cent wings and $1.25 Bud drafts, plus games like pool and foosball.
Whether it's an extended happy hour or a dinner out, don't miss the authentic Mexican specialties, made with fresh ingredients by Chef Chicho Flores from Puerto Vallarta. From traditional tacos, burritos and fajitas to shrimp empanadas and Chicho's flautas, all meals boast homemade tortillas and salsas. Also avaliable are a wide bariety of traditional American favorites--burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, and traditional and unique appetizers.
The kids' menu and affordable prices make Zane's a family favorite. And dining late night is not a problem' the kitchen is open (with full menu) until midnight.
With its eight satellite TVs, Zane's is a sports hot spot. Come in on Sunday to cheer on your home team (Zane's subscribes to the NFL Sunday Ticket), and enjoy specials during Monday Night Football.
Music fans will never get bored here; Zane's has the only Internet jukebox in the valley, with more than 200,000 songs. Open 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily. On the Snowmass Village Mall across from Gene Taylor's.
